Keith Lindberg has a unique philosophy of art that he doesn't hesitate to share. "No two people find the same meaning in any one thing, and I want the viewer to be able to exercise his own imagination." Therefore, he always goes half way with his viewers, fifty percent for which he feels fully responsible since he has "to think about the painting, feel it, bring something to the surface, put it all together, and set my personal stamp on it." The other fifty percent is in the hands of the viewers´ experience.
Keith Lindberg, a popular Carmel artist, best known for the unfolding dramas and brilliance of colors in his work, paints beautifully designed oils and has been reviewed by critics as a "swashbuckler with paint." His subject matter includes many paintings with people; also birds, horses and landscapes.
